The 10 Best Portable Vaporizers of 2020 Reviewed

By the Way, Furna, a Waterloo, Ontario-based vape startup, has launched its new vape called furna vaporizer, designed by former BlackBerry execs - aimed at a similar market as the Pax 3.

If you're seeking the best portable dry herb vaporizer, you are in the ideal place! We've tested hundreds of different portable vaporizers and whittled them down to 10.

2021 has begun and we're looking forward to the releases that come out this season. Nothing big has ever been published yet but we will definitely update this page when we see anything exciting encounter out!

Mighty

Although the Mighty was available for nearly four years now it succeeds as the best portable dry herb vaporizer. Its vapor quality is on par with high end desktop vaporizers that's really saying something. The pulls are smooth and flavorful which is exactly what you're looking for in a good mobile vaporizer.

Not only is the vapor quality great, but it is super easy to use.  There's a screen on the unit with simple up and down controls to the temperature. It also has an integrated safety feature which automatically turns off it in case you forget.

The Mighty utilizes a mixture of both conduction and convection heating techniques that's patented by Storz & Bickel, the manufacturer of this Volcano and Mighty. They also constructed in grating across the side that cools down the vapor (which is important as it's on your hands ).

The Mighty had among the best battery lives of any portable but it was upgraded in 2018 with 20% more battery life. That means you can use it for nearly two hours without even plugging in which can last you a weekend or even longer. It also features pass through charging which means that you can use it while it's plugged in. That comes in handy when you

While it may not be as portable as other possibilities, it doesn't have to be. It is small enough to carry on trips and is the best size for at home use. It isn't cheap, but you really get what you pay for.

2. Arizer Solo two

The Arizer Solo 2 is the follow up to the most famous Solo. Arizer is a world famous manufacturer for a reason: they make leading dry herb vaporizers that function well for a reasonable price.

The main reason why the Solo 2 comes from second is because of its remarkable battery life. When fully charged it runs for nearly 3 hours non stop without needing a charge.  That is most likely the longest battery life of any mobile vaporizer you can locate in 2021.

Not only is it that the battery life stellar, but also the vapor quality is fantastic. It features a hybrid ceramic/stainless steel heating system that delivers delicious and thick vapor. The vapor itself remains cool due to the very long glass atmosphere path.

Do not be worried if you are in a hurry too! The Arizer Solo 2 heats up in around 20 seconds which means that you may go from dry herb to vapor very quickly. The electronic controls are slick and easy to use.

Just like the Mighty, the Arizer Solo 2 is not very pocketable because it has a glass tube that you pull from, but the battery lifetime and vapor quality more than make up for it. If you're looking for an amazing portable vaporizer at a fair price, definitely think about the Solo 2.

Also we did not include the Arizer Air two in this listing but it deserves a mention. It is essentially a smaller version of the Solo 2 with a worse battery life.

When the original Firefly hit the marketplace it blew a great deal of people's heads. It's a convection herb vaporizer that heats up in a couple minutes which has cool, thick vapor. There were a couple of complaints around the dimensions, lack of temperature control and battery life though.

They fixed that up in the second edition. The Firefly two is over 30% smaller, 50% Quicker, with innovative temperature controllers and has a much improved battery life. Now you can select from six temperature configurations between 338° and 437° Fahrenheit which let's you receive the ideal vapor density. Just be sure you get a smart phone because that's all controlled from the Firefly program!

They then released an even bigger improvement on that Firefly 2 using the newest Firefly 2+ (Plus). The most notable improvement is that the battery and charging life. Now you can charge to 80% in 20 minutes, which lets you wake up and running fast. The dock makes it effortless to remember to leave to charge too. Even though the battery is small, they have expanded the life span through technology innovations and you might also replace it on the go.

As it utilizes a convection heating system it provides some of the best vapor quality out of any of those portable vaporizers on this listing. Despite the fact that you need to understand how to take a slower draw to utilize it properly, it's not that hard to pick up and find out. The Firefly 2+ also heats up almost instantly--no waiting around for it to heat up.

Due to its design the Firefly 2+ is also super simple to wash and maintain. It not only looks great, but it's functional. That's smart design!

In addition to Volcano, Pax has become the face of vaporizers to get a little while ago. The original rendition had a unique, sleek design that really helped it stand out from the crowd. The Pax 3 looks even better with new matte colors and has some big improvements to boot.

The very best thing about the Pax 3 is likely it is size. You will find smaller vaporizers available, but Pax has really nailed it with the ideal size for actions. It weighs just 93 g  which is pretty mad for each of the technology they package in to it.

The Pax 3 also heats up quickly in around 15-20 minutes. It utilizes eyebrow sensing technology to tell when you are using it, therefore it can heat up the chamber which is super dope. The vapor you pull from the device is surprisingly good too! It does run on a conduction oven that will not provide the subtle flavours of a convection vaporizer, however, that won't matter for the majority of individuals.

They've also improved the battery life with all the Pax 3. You are able to use it for around an hour an a half before having to recharge. Charging is cool with the Pax 3 with the innovative charging dock. You can tell that a lot of engineering went in to it.

5.

Healthy Rips entered the fray a couple of years ago with all the Fury vaporizer. They promised to provide food-grade air paths that use convection technology to warm the herb, and they have delivered. While their initial two or three vaporizers were fantastic, they've released a true winner at the Fury Edge.

The most notable portion of the wholesome Rips Fury Edge is that it delivers (mostly) convection in a little package. Until that point if you wanted a mobile vaporizer that fits in your pocket, you were most likely using conduction. While there is nothing wrong with conduction, convection is normally more efficient and delivers better flavour.

They have also packed a 2300 mAh battery in to the Fury Edge that's a very decent battery. Our primary complaint with the Fury two was that it was not truly portable because the battery was really small (and not replaceable). That's mended and the Fury Edge runs for over one hour in use which is great. Not only that, but they have implemented USB-C charging. It charges quickly and USB-C doesn't wear out like a miniature USB.

Sure, the Mighty and Ghost MV1 have significantly less draw resistance and also have better flavour, but they are double the price. If you're searching for an affordable, portable, unit you should definitely check out the Fury Edge.

P. S. The Healthy Rips Fury Edge also gives you many different attachments you may utilize. If you want to throw it in your pocket there's a plastic mouthpiece, or you may use a glass while in home - entirely your choice.

6. Crafty+

The Crafty+ is the nimble small brother of this Mighty that's sitting up in the #1 place. Depending who you talk to, and what you're searching for, the Crafty+ could choose the best spot since the most effective portable vaporizer.

It is cheaper and smaller than the Mighty that is fantastic, however there are a few drawbacks. It does not possess an integrated screen which means that you need to control the temperature settings from the app connected to a smart phone (which may not be possible because Apple banned vape programs ). Also the vapor it generates isn't as trendy as the Mighty.

It gives you nearly 90 minutes of vaporizing off of single charge. And in addition, it features pass-through charging so that you may use it while it's plugged in.

In case you're searching for a true portable unit though you'll want the Crafty+ within the Mighty. It weighs in at just around 135g which makes it discreet and can easily fit in your pocket. The Crafty+ is built tough too which means you don't actually need to worry about it rattling around a bit.

Exactly enjoy all Volcano goods, it has amazing vapor quality. It has a hybrid convection heating system that's impressive for a vaporizer of this size.

7. Davinci IQ/MIQRO

Davinci has been producing vaporizers for over five years now. They started off using the first Davinci Vaporizer and followed it up with the solid David Ascent. Their third merchandise is surely their best mobile vaporizer yet.

It has a super slick design with a beautiful LED grid screen. It looks like it could be an Apple device if they chose to dip their feet in the vaporizer market.

Not only does it look great, but it performs great too. It delivers tasty vapor out of its own ceramic heating chamber which is a conduction heating system. Additionally, it contains a'flavour chamber' that lets you inhale dry herbs without needing to grind them up.

If you're looking for a true, pocketable, mobile vaporizer you are in luck. It just weighs around 145 grams which is tiny in comparison to many other portable units. You may easily throw it in your pocket along with your phone.

The battery will only last about an hour of use, however, so be wary. The batteries are replaceable so think about picking an additional one up in the event that you're going with all the Davinci IQ. They are easy to swap in and out!

Davinci also released the MIQRO vaporizer, which is very similar to this IQ but has a smaller size and comes in at a lower cost point. Though the battery lasts just a tiny bit less than the IQ, it is an amazing small conduction vaporizer. If you want a little unit to throw into your pocket, you should definitely take a look at the MIQRO.

Davinci published the IQ2 in 2020. It features fresh airflow controller which let's you alter the quantity of air intake on the move. Additionally it's on-demand dosage technology which permits you to monitor precisely how much you've vaporized (just works via the app which is currently not available on Apple apparatus ).

8. Arizer ArGo

The ArGo is short for Arizer Go. It's Arizer's first really portable vaporizer because the mouthpiece retracts back into the device. All of Arizer's'mobile' vaporizers have glass bits which means you can't throw them in your pocket or bag--that's not true with the ArGo.

Even though it's little Arizer hasn't cut corners on their build quality too. This vaporizer feels sturdy and does not have the cheap plastic quality you get with other units.

It's some of the vapor generation of all of the very small vaporizers (Pax, Starry). They've utilized their conduction/convection heating technology out of their Solo two and Air 2, and set it in a more compact package.

Somehow Arizer also match a complete OLED screen on to this small vaporizer too. You can see battery life and temperature right on the ArGo, you don't have to download a separate app or anything like that. We much prefer vaporizers who have screens since programs can be somewhat gimmicky (and also Apple has currently banned vape related programs ).

The very best part of this ArGo must be the swappable batteries. You'll be able to purchase extras and throw them in your pocket on the go. Swappable batteries also extends the life span of your vaporizer as you don't have to simply toss it when the batteries weaken over time. That is a big bonus!

9. XMAX Starry V3

The XMAX Starry is your lowest priced vaporizer on this listing, but it doesn't function like the lowest priced . It is an amazing little vaporizer that's ideal for novices looking for a newcomer, or veterans looking for a super mobile unit.

The XMAX Starry is the perfect size to be obtained from the home on an experience. It weighs around 120 g which is in the smaller end of any portable vaporizers you find.  It's easy to throw in your pocket and fits perfectly in the clasp of your hand.  Just be careful because the mouthpiece may get hot after prolonged usage.

It warms up pretty quickly in around 20-30 minutes. The XMAX Starry offers a complete spectrum of temperatures to choose from the OLED screen. It is possible to play around and find the ideal setting.

The V3 has an improved battery life which lets you use it for about 80 minutes of usage. The batteries are also replaceable, so that you can keep extras with you for longer trips. They've also added a larger bowl and new mouth piece that are definitely great to have too!

Boundless has launched a few cheap products which have taken the dry herb vaporizer planet by storm. The CF/CFX are essentially a poor man's Crafty/Mighty: they're hybrid convection, they seem like they have similar sizes. Considering they're half the cost of the Volcano counterparts--that the CF/CFX are fairly impressive.

The Boundless CF is the smaller of both. It's a comparatively small size and contains five different temperature settings. The battery is non-replaceable and can last you about 50 minutes of usage.

The Boundless CFX is your big brother. It's bulkier, but includes a nice OLED display which lets you pick your exact temperature. Such as the CF, the batteries are non-replaceable and will last you around 60 minutes of usage.

What really sets these two vaporizers apart from the crowd is that their vapor quality. They have the best vapor of any inexpensive vaporizer available at the moment. It's not quite on par with all the best, but it is definitely better than most. If you are just starting out with vaporizing, or can not afford a more expensive unit, you will not be disappointed with either the Boundless CF or even CFX.
