The 10 Best Portable Vaporizers of 2021 Reviewed

By the Way, Furna, a Waterloo, Ontario-based vape startup, has launched its new vape called furna vaporizer, designed by former BlackBerry execs - aimed at a similar market as the Pax 3.

If you're looking for the very best mobile dry herb vaporizer, you are in the ideal location! We have tested hundreds of distinct portable vaporizers and whittled them down to 10.

2021 has now begun and we're looking forward to the new releases that come out this year. Nothing big has been published yet but we'll certainly update this page when we see anything exciting come out!

Mighty

Although the Mighty has been available for almost four years now it succeeds as the best mobile dry herb vaporizer. Its vapor quality is on par with higher end desktop vaporizers that's actually saying something. The pulls are flavorful and smooth which is exactly what you're looking for in a good mobile vaporizer.

Not only is the vapor quality amazing, but it's super simple to use.  There's a display on the unit with easy up and down controls for the temperature. It also has an integrated safety feature that turns it off in case you forget.

The Mighty uses a mixture of both conduction and convection heating methods that's improved by Storz & Bickel, the manufacturer of the Volcano and Mighty. They also constructed in grating across the side that cools down the vapor (which is significant since it's in your hand).

The Mighty already had among the best battery lives of any portable but it was updated in 2018 with 20 percent more battery life. That means you can use it for nearly two hours without even plugging in which can last you a weekend or more. In addition, it features pass through charging that means that you may use it while it is plugged . That Is Useful when you

While it may not be as mobile as other options, it does not have to be. It's small enough to carry on trips and is the best size for at home use. The Mighty is an investment which can pay off in the long term.

2. Arizer Solo two

Arizer is a world famous brand for a reason: they make leading dry herb vaporizers that work well for a reasonable price.

The most important reason the Solo 2 comes in second is because of its impressive battery life. When fully charged it runs for almost 3 hours non stop without having a charge.  That's most likely the longest battery life of almost any mobile vaporizer you may locate in 2021.

Not only is it the battery life leading, but the vapor quality is wonderful. It sports a hybrid ceramic/stainless steel heating system which delivers delicious and thick vapor. The vapor itself remains cool due to the long glass atmosphere path.

Do not be worried if you're in a hurry too! The Arizer Solo 2 heats up in about 20 seconds which means that you can go from dry herb to vapor very quickly. The digital controls are sleek and simple to use.

Just like the Mighty, the Arizer Solo 2 isn't quite pocketable since it's a glass tube that you pull out of, but also the battery lifetime and vapor quality more than make up for it. If you're searching for an awesome portable vaporizer at a fair cost, definitely think about the Solo 2.

We also did not incorporate the Arizer Air 2 in this listing but it deserves a mention. It is essentially a bigger version of the Solo 2 having a worse battery life.

Firefly 2+

When the original Firefly hit the market it blew a lot of people's minds. It's a convection herb vaporizer that heats up in a couple seconds that has thick, cool vapor. There were a couple of complaints round the dimensions, lack of temperature controller and battery life though.

They fixed up that in the next version. The Firefly two is over 30% smaller, 50 percent Quicker, with advanced temperature controllers and contains a much improved battery life. Now you can pick from six temperature settings between 338° and 437° Fahrenheit which let's you get the perfect vapor density. Just be sure you have a smart phone because that's all controlled by the Firefly program!

Then they published an even bigger improvement on this Firefly 2 with the newest Firefly 2+ (Plus). Now you can charge to 80 percent in 20 minutes, which lets you wake up and running fast. The dock makes it easy to remember to depart to charge also. Although the battery is small, they've enlarged the life span through tech innovations and you can also replace it on the go.

Because it uses a convection heating system it delivers some of the greatest vapor quality from any of those mobile vaporizers on this listing. Despite the fact that you need to understand how to take a slower draw to use it properly, it's not that difficult to pick up and find out. The Firefly 2+ also warms up almost instantly--no waiting around for it to warm up.

Due to its design the Firefly 2+ is also super simple to wash and maintain. It not only looks great, but it is functional. That is smart layout!

4.

In addition to Volcano, Pax has been the face of vaporizers for a little while ago. The first rendition had a distinctive, sleek design that actually helped it stand out from the crowd. The Pax 3 looks even better with new matte colors and has some huge improvements to boot.

You will find smaller vaporizers available, however, Pax has really nailed it with the ideal size for activities. It weighs just 93 grams that's pretty insane for all the technology they pack into it.

The Pax 3 also heats up fast in around 15-20 seconds. It utilizes lip sensing technology to inform when you're using it, therefore it can heat up the room which is super dope. The vapor that you pull from the unit is surprisingly good too! It does operate on a conduction oven which won't deliver the subtle flavours of a convection vaporizer, however, that will not matter for the majority of people.

They have also improved the battery life together with the Pax 3. You are able to use it for around an hour an a half before needing to recharge. Charging is cool using the Pax 3 with the charging dock. You can tell that a lot of engineering went into it.

5.

Healthy Rips entered the fray a few years ago with the Fury vaporizer. They promised to deliver food-grade air paths that use convection technologies to warm the herb, and they have delivered. While their initial two or three vaporizers were fantastic, they have published a true winner in the Fury Edge.

The most notable portion of the Healthy Rips Fury Edge is the fact that it delivers (mostly) convection in a little package. Until that point if you wanted a portable vaporizer that fits in your pocket, then you're probably using conduction. While there is nothing wrong with conduction, convection is normally more efficient and delivers better flavour.

They've also packaged a 2300 mAh battery into the Fury Edge which is a really decent battery. Our main complaint with the Fury 2 was that it wasn't truly portable because the battery was really small (and not replaceable). That is fixed and the Fury Edge runs for more than one hour in use that's great. Not only that, but they've implemented USB-C charging. It charges quickly and USB-C doesn't wear out like a mini USB.

Sure, the Mighty and Ghost MV1 have significantly less draw resistance and have better flavour, but they are double the cost . If you're looking for an affordable, portable, unit you should check out the Fury Edge.

P. S. The wholesome Rips Fury Edge also provides you a variety of attachments you may utilize. If you would like to throw it into your pocket there's a plastic mouthpiece, or you may use a glass one while at home - totally your choice.

6. Crafty+

The Crafty+ is the nimble small brother of the Mighty that is sitting up at the #1 spot. Depending who you speak to, and what exactly you're looking for, the Crafty+ can choose the top place  as the most effective portable vaporizer.

It's cheaper and smaller than the Mighty that is great, but there are a few drawbacks. It doesn't possess an integrated display which means that you have to control the temperature settings from the app connected to a smart phone (which may not be possible since Apple banned vape programs ). In addition, the vapor it produces isn't as cool as the Mighty.

It provides you nearly 90 minutes of rip-off of single charge. And it also includes pass-through charging so you can use it while it's plugged .

In case you're looking for a true mobile unit though you will need the Crafty+ over the Mighty. The Crafty+ is built tough too which means that you don't really have to think about it rattling around just a little bit.

Just like all Volcano goods, it has amazing vapor quality. It's a hybrid convection heating system that's impressive for a vaporizer of the size.

7. Davinci IQ/MIQRO

Davinci has been making vaporizers for over five years now. They started off using the original Davinci Vaporizer and followed it up with all the solid David Ascent. Their third product is surely their best portable vaporizer yet.

It has a super sleek design with a stunning LED grid display. It seems like it may be an Apple device if they decided to dip their toes in the vaporizer market.

Not only does it look fantastic, but it performs great also. It delivers tasty vapor out of its own ceramic heating chamber that's a conduction heating system. It also includes a'powder room' which lets you inhale dry herbs without having to grind them up.

If you're searching for a true, pocketable, mobile vaporizer you are in luck. The Davinci IQ is little. It only weighs about 145 g that's tiny compared to many other portable units. You may easily throw it into your pocket along with your phone.

The battery will only last about an hour of use, however, so be wary. The batteries are replaceable so consider picking an extra one up if you're going with all the Davinci IQ. They're easy to swap in and out!

Davinci also introduced the MIQRO vaporizer, which is quite similar to this IQ but has a more compact dimension and comes in at a lower cost point. While the battery lasts just a little bit less than the IQ, it's an wonderful little conduction vaporizer. If you'd like a little unit to throw into your pocket, you should definitely take a look at the MIQRO.

Davinci published the IQ2 in 2020. It features new airflow control which let's you alter the amount of air intake on the go. Additionally it's on-demand dose technologies which permits you to monitor exactly how much you have vaporized (just works through the program that's currently unavailable on Apple apparatus ).

Arizer ArGo

It's Arizer's first really portable vaporizer since the mouthpiece retracts back into the device. All Arizer's'portable' vaporizers have glass pieces so you can not throw them into your pocket or purse --that is not the case with the ArGo.

Although it's small Arizer has not cut corners in their build quality too. This vaporizer feels sturdy and does not have the cheap plastic quality that you get with other units.

It has some of the vapor production of all of the tiny vaporizers (Pax, Starry). They have utilized their conduction/convection heating technologies out of their Solo 2 and Air 2, and set it in a smaller package. It has a fairly fast heat up time that will get you vaporizing in just under a minute.

Somehow Arizer also match a complete OLED display on to this small vaporizer too. It's possible to view battery life and temperature directly on the ArGo, no need to download another app or anything like that. We prefer vaporizers who have screens since apps can be somewhat gimmicky (and also Apple has currently banned vape related programs ).

The very best part of the ArGo has to be the swappable batteries. You can purchase extras and toss them in your pocket on the move. Swappable batteries also extends the life span of your vaporizer since you don't have to just toss it when the batteries weaken over time. That is a big bonus!

9. XMAX Starry V3

The XMAX Starry is your lowest priced vaporizer on this listing, but it does not function like the lowest priced . It's an awesome little vaporizer that's perfect for novices looking for a starter, or veterans looking for a super portable unit.

It weighs about 120 g which is at the lower end of almost any mobile vaporizers you find.  Just be careful because the mouthpiece can get hot after prolonged usage.

It heats up fairly quickly in around 20-30 seconds. The XMAX Starry offers a full array of temperatures to pick from the OLED display. You can play around and get the best setting. It's a conduction vaporizer though, so don't expect incredible flavor.

The V3 has a better battery life which permits you to use it for around 80 minutes of usage. The batteries can also be replaceable, so that you may keep extras with you for longer trips. They have also added a larger bowl and new mouth piece which are definitely nice to have also!

10.  Boundless CF/CFX

Boundless has released a couple cheap products which have obtained the dry herb vaporizer planet by storm. The CF/CFX are essentially a poor person's Crafty/Mighty: they're hybrid convectionthey seem like they have similar sizes. Considering they are half the price of their Volcano counterparts--the CF/CFX are fairly impressive.

The Boundless CF is the smaller of the two. It's a comparatively modest size and contains five different temperature settings. The battery is non-replaceable and will last you about 50 minutes of usage.

It's bulkier, but features a nice OLED screen which lets you select your exact temperature. Like the CF, the batteries are non-replaceable and can last you around 60 minutes of usage.

What actually sets both of these vaporizers apart from the crowd is their vapor quality. They have the best vapor of any cheap vaporizer available right now. It's not quite on par with all the very best, but it's definitely better than many. If you're just starting out with vaporizing, or can not afford a more expensive unit, you will not be disappointed with either the Boundless CF or even CFX.

See our entire Boundless CFX review if you would like to have more information on it.
